Major (Rt. Rev’d) Dr. Damian Ffriend, J.P., M.Th., MSc, PhD. LUTCF. CHt

Bishop Dr. Damian Ffriend currently serves as the presiding Bishop of the New Ebenezer Tabernacle Apostolic churches in Jamaica, having been consecrated Bishop in January 2003. His unique and enhancing ministry has caused him to assist in the establishment and growth of ministries throughout Jamaica, the Caribbean, Europe and North America. 

 

Bishop Ffriend is known as a devoted man of God, student of the scriptures and a shepherd who sincerely cares about the sheep. He has his undergraduate qualification in Accounting, Masters degrees in Theology, and Human Resource Management and a PhD in Counselling Psychology with a specialization in Christian Counselling along with several other professional qualifications and designations. Bishop Ffriend is also a Major in the Jamaica Defence Force where he currently serves as Acting Force Chaplain. 

 

Bishop Ffriend is known for his dedication to ministry and his detailed and insightful exegesis of scriptures. He is an awesome preacher and teacher of the Word, who genuinely loves God’s people and is committed to Kingdom building and people development.
