The Potter's Hand Women’s Ministry (PHWM)

The PHWM exists to empower and encourage women of all ages and backgrounds to grow in their faith, find community, and make a positive impact in the world. We believe that as women come together to support and uplift one another, they can create a powerful force for good in their families, their communities, and beyond.

Through our programs and events, we seek to create a welcoming and inclusive space where women can connect with one another, share their stories and experiences, and be inspired to live out their God-given calling with passion and purpose.

Brothers' Keeper Ministry (BKM)

BKM is guided by Proverbs 27:17 which states “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” We therefore aim to equip the men of NETA with the tools necessary for their journey towards spiritual maturity - one brother connected to another, and leaving none behind. It is our desire that the men of NETA become agents of change and men who are committed to accomplishing their God-given purpose. BKM aligns its roles and responsibilities with that of NETA, by implementing programmes and activities that are geared towards developing the whole man. We also seek to aid in their development to becoming better fathers, husbands, heads of households, and brothers.

Children in Action (C.I.A) Ministry

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Children are the legacy and heritage of the church. CIA’s goal is to equip the next generation to know and to grow in the love of Jesus Christ. The ministry ensures that praise, worship, prayer & fasting, the study of the Word, and evangelism are ingrained in the psyche of our children. This is to ensure that each child honours, respects and treasures God, and become faithful disciples of Christ for the glory of God.

The New Members and Discipleship Programme is designed for those who are newly converted or have recently transferred their membership to NETA. This programme aims to nurture and make all participants effective disciples of Jesus Christ irrespective of education level, age, or other demographics. It also seeks to influence the transformation of all participants by getting them cultured according to biblical principles, as well as NETA traditions and values.

All this is done with the aim to achieve an end state of transformed, committed, purpose driven believers, who are equipped to continue the work of making disciples.

Care Ministry

NETA’s CARE MINISTRY – We DO CARE!

The Care Ministry’s mantra asks the question, “How can we help?”  As a ministry, the team is Concerned About Reaching Everyone and  serves the members of the church family.  This ministry is a direct arm of the Office of the Bishop who is physically unable to directly reach everyone, therefore the team was carefully chosen to serve under his guidance.

This team ministers to members and internal constituents by expressing the love of Christ  in relevant and tangible ways.We connect with people behind the scenes through phone calls and visits, meeting emotional and addressing physical needs through benevolent outreach. By these contacts, the church is made aware of needs that may otherwise go unnoticed. CARE is not only a ministry of compassion but also a ministry of action as We DO Care!

Media Ministry

The Media Ministry, one of the support departments in NETA, utilizes various forms of media to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to inspire and encourage believers, and to create a platform for individuals to share their testimonies and stories of faith. We aim to produce high-quality content that is both engaging and relevant to persons of all ages and backgrounds. Our goal is to use media as a tool to provide a space for dialogue and discussion around faith and spirituality, and to create a community of believers who are connected through the power of media. We believe that media has the ability to transform lives, and we are committed to using it to share the love of God with the world.

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry is a dedicated group of musicians and singers within NETA who play a vital role in enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of worship services. Our main objective is to use music as a means of uplifting and engaging congregants in the worship experience. The department selects and performs hymns, songs, and choral pieces to assist in our expression and response to God, as well as to foster unity and reverence among the congregation.

Hospitality Department

The Hospitality Department is the ministry of welcome at NETA. We seek to make every person, member, visitor, or guest feel the warmth of Christ’s love from the moment they arrive. Through a smile, a kind word, and practical care, we create a spirit of belonging and joy that goes beyond greeting and seating. Our goal is to make the church not just a building to enter but a family to embrace, reflecting the scripture: “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” (Hebrews 13:2).

Adjutancy

Adjutants are carefully chosen by the Presiding Prelate and have the direct responsibility to sanctify their leader in the eyes of the people. We provide direct support to the Presiding Prelate in varying matters as he directs, and as the need arises, thereby allowing him to operate efficiently and effectively. This support ranges from matters of a minuscule nature, such as tying a shoelace or some other routine tasks, to major functions involving management and general orderings within the church body.

The adjutants have the responsibility to create a positive atmosphere within which the Bishop should operate/minister. Other key responsibilities for members of this department include the overseeing of the Presiding Prelate’s vestments, ensure the proper observance and execution of protocol, carry out assigned religious sacraments, as well as assist in the execution of varying duties with much ease.

The Adjutancy of NETA Ministries accepts and pursue its role and function to serve the Presiding Prelate and by extension the five (5) Fold Ministry of Apostle, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers and Evangelists under his charge, without fanfare but with willingness and resilience; “Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.” (2 Chronicles 15:7-KJV).

Usher Department

The Usher Department functions as the doorkeepers of the sanctuary, and it's role  can be traced throughout scriptures such as Psalms 84:10, “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.”.

Although there is no strict qualification to operate as an Usher, one thing is certain, one must possess the fruit of the Spirit, since ushering is a personalized ministry.  It is directed on an individual basis and helps to set the stage for the proceedings of the deliberate gathering (Members and Visitors) of persons for worship and meetings. This is done through executed pre-actions of literally checking the facilities of its readiness before the start of the respective gathering, greeting members and visitors, directing to seats and other required areas and assisting with the smooth flow of movement of persons and items during the gatherings.

Essentially the Usher Department aims to provide suitable and effective guidance to visitors and members of the congregation be it for routine operations or that of an emergency response.

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” (Hebrews 6:10 -KJV)

Facilities

The Facilities Department is dedicated to maintaining the house of God in excellence. We work to ensure that every area remains clean, safe, and welcoming for worship, fellowship, and ministry. Caring for the physical church is more than a duty; it is an act of stewardship, creating the right environment for every service and activity to take place without distraction. From maintaining the sanctuary and classrooms to preparing spaces for events, our team serves faithfully behind the scenes so that God’s presence may be experienced in an atmosphere of order and reverence.
