Each year, the Brothers’ Keeper Ministry undertakes its Back-to-School Drive as part of our continued commitment to serving the needs of the NETA community. Rooted in compassion and guided by faith, this initiative seeks to ease the financial burden that often accompanies the new academic year, particularly for families facing economic hardship.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, we were grateful to support 38 students with essential school supplies, including notebooks, stationery, backpacks, and other classroom materials. These items, while simple, represent hope, dignity, and the belief that every child deserves to start the school year fully equipped and ready to learn.
Over the past three years, our Back-to-School Drive has reached nearly 80 children, a testament to what is possible when the church moves beyond its walls and into action. This year’s success was made possible through the generous contributions of our church family and well-wishers who gave faithfully through fundraising activities and direct donations.
What continues to inspire us are not just the numbers, but the moments: the joy on a child’s face when receiving their backpack, the relief from a parent who now has one less thing to worry about, and the quiet reassurance that the church still stands as a place of care and support.
We extend sincere thanks to everyone who contributed, whether through time, resources, or prayer. Your generosity helped carry forward the mission of Brothers’ Keeper Ministry: to serve in love, to uplift those in need, and to build a stronger future through acts of kindness.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to this cause, believing that by investing in our children today, we are shaping the leaders, scholars, and visionaries of tomorrow.
